The award has been presented to the IMSR team by Mr. Buta Singh, Ex Union Home Minister, and Ex-CBI chief Joginder Singh on the occasion of the 28th Indian Achievers Summit on
"The Challenges of Economic Growth & Social Development" held at New Delhi INDIA arranged by Economic Development Forum.
In a special note Mr. Buta Singh, Ex Union Home Minister raised concern of poor education facilities in India and have suggested IMSR to provide distance education opportunities to all deserving students all acrosss India so that they get access to much needed education to excel in their respective career.

The function was held in Sep 2015 at New Delhi - INDIA and was organized by Economic Growth Society of India - New Delhi in the presence of Former Election Commissioner of India G V G Krishnamurthy and Former CBI Director Mr. V N Sehgal. All these dignitaries have praised IMSR continuous efforts in building a nation by excellence in distance education.
